So I’m back from my trip to Austin, Phoenix and Las Vegas. I knew I’d have a hard time staying 100% keto and I was right. (Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re always right!) But I wanted to see if I could go for a week of not really paying super close attention to what I ate, then come back get on plan again and consider it a win. And I did it! I’m down 3.7 lbs this morning from when I left on this dash around the states.
I’m also reading “The Complete Guide to Fasting” by Dr. Jason Fung and Jimmy Moore. So this week since I’ve been back I’ve been doing some intermittent fasting (IF) in order to help speed my path back to normal. Even if I had weighed in at even from when I left I would have considered this a win. But down 3.7 lbs is definitely a win!
Thanksgiving is coming up next week and on the 18th of December, Teri and I head out for 10 days in HAWAII, and I’m going to be moderately good there, but I’m not going to shy away from stuff I want to eat. It just won’t happen. But I’ll wait until the Friday following our return to weigh in and give a report. We’ll see if I can stand almost 2 weeks of no accountability and still stay on track.
